DESIGN COMPETITION: Sustainable Classroom

The second annual Florida Foundation for Architecture design competition will focus on Florida's classrooms. Called the "Sunshine State Sustainable Classroom" Design Competition, emerging professionals will design new modular classrooms for use within the state.

If you are a firm principle, please encourage your associates, interns, students, and those licensed 10 years or less to participate. With the registration fee of only $25 this is a great opportunity to encourage everyone to participate.

"As an Associate AIA member this program serves as a great opportunity for me to gain more knowledge in design and continue to refine my skills. I highly recommend this competition for all emerging professionals." - Jedd Heap, Assoc. AIA
The contest is aimed at fostering research associated with the design of modular classroom units that can serve Florida's K-12 students. FFA is looking for solutions that will address the design parameters of affordability, sustainability and structural durability within the Florida context.
